While it is difficult to find time to learn the language of every country you may visit, it is important to make an attempt for reasons of respect for the local culture and your hosts, as well as for self-preservation! (You don’t have to learn anything even close to as complicated as the character below!)

The content for this module is provided in order to meet those relatively simple goals. For the most part, it is important to understand certain phrases in context. In this module you will find audio files with which to train your ear or your pronunciation, and learning activities that help you recognize necessary language.
